I picked up more food for Dave at Petsmart today. Unfortunately, they don’t carry the basic brand of Iam’s so I purchased Iam’s Proactive Health (that’s all they carry of Iam’s)…the chicken variety. He was sooo cute. I put the remaining food in the big bowl and one side of his smaller bowl, with the new food going in the other side. He sniffed the big bowl, then the one side containing the original food, then dove into the new food! 
I guess he really likes it. I’ll continue mixing what we have left, so he doesn’t have an upset tummy. He probably shouldn’t though, since it’s Iams brand.
He was in good spirits again and very chatty with me as usual. His Christmas stocking is now missing, so we played with the sequined rat.
