Everyone’s doing great.  I’ve kept Rudy dining “al fresco”, while the other two have indoor arrangements for their meals.  No one seems to mind this arrangement and next time I care for them during feeding, we’ll go back to normal protocol.  🙂

The boys have had full run of the house between the noon visits and evening visits.  They have been awesome with this.  It’s cute to see Rudy’s head at the window watching everything as we leave.  I haven’t decided yet whether to leave them out after the morning visit or after the noon visit.  Hmmm…they may be greeting you at the door tomorrow.

Cosmo, of course, has been my best buddy…rarely wanting to leave my side.  Petie has been his usual self.  He was funny this evening with only wanting to play with a toy he couldn’t get.   It was in the laundry room and he sat by the door until I took notice.  I got the toy and appeased him with some play.  🙂  Rudy has really warmed up to me now.  He no longer hesitates to demand his deserved attention from me. I’m thinking next time I’ll take them for a walk during one of my visits.  That will be the ultimate bonding experience!

Tonight’s photo op is Mr. Pete.  Got the yellow eyes, but I’m not a professional photographer.  🙁

You’ve had two home showings; one yesterday and one today.  Woo-hoo!

Since hubby is transporting me everywhere right now, he was available to help me with your two fur babies.  Neena, yesterday, was sooo funny doing her usual “I don’t know you and am not sure if I’m supposed to like you” thing with him when we went to walk them during the showing.  So, instead of giving him Cassius’ leash, I gave him Neena’s!  She wasn’t too sure what to do about that, but in the end hubby was an okay guy in her mind.  🙂  For today’s showing, we loaded them up in the car and took them to the river. Neena and hubby are old friends now.  Cassius, as you know, is friends with anyone.

On the regular visits, it’s been pretty quiet.  There have been a few potty accidents to report, but all is well.  Tonight was extremely windy and they seemed a bit alarmed at the outdoor sounds, so I did turn on the radio with some soft jazz music for the evening for them.  This should help keep them calmer.

I’ll just get to the point of the most probable burning question in your mind…how are the feedings going now?  🙂  This morning was better, but still challenging with Mr. Rudy.  I was able to get Pete fed without any interference from Rudy.  I thought I had it made when I fed Cosmo.  I had Rudy convinced to stay at a distance and was rattling his bowl to let him know his food was forthcoming.  Didn’t work.  He swooped in on Cosmo’s bowl and I made an immediate dive for it.  My gosh, I had to!  Everyone was having their individual medications this morning.  It all turned out okay in the end, thank goodness.

This evening I declared that Rudy was going to have patio dining, while the other two could have indoor dining.  I have to be a little protective of my healing injuries and am making adjustments so everyone stays safe.  🙂  This way was much more peaceful for all of us.  I forgot to mention, Cosmo did not ingest his pill this morning so I used some banana to get him to take the pill.

Photography for the day is of Mr. Rudy…the handsome devil!

As normal, they were very happy to see me.  After our bathroom break, we sat on the couch for some petting.  Then Neena did the oddest thing.  She went and laid on the pet bed and nothing could convince her to come back and join us.  Maybe she was showing a little jealousy, because she thought Cassius got too much attention?  If only they could talk, then I would know for sure.

I didn’t get a picture of the pups, because I had to take a picture of the spring tulips.  Gorgeous!  I’m very ready for the weather to be warmer on a daily basis.

Early posting, but I needed to do some pain management and wanted to get this on here while my mind is still clear.  Thank goodness my husband is driving me every where I need to be.

Anyway, the feeding didn’t go very smoothly.  I was very surprised as I didn’t have any problems the last time I took care of them.  I’m sure you know I’m speaking of Mr. Rudy.  🙁  I think he’s playing me on my current (slight) disability.  🙂  I scooped up all the food for their respective bowls and began to feed in order.  Well Rudy dove straight into Pete’s bowl, which confused the heck out of Pete.  Poor guy.  He briefly considered fighting about it, but I was right there and Pete has never tried to take advantage of me.  I thought about taking control of Rudy, but being a hand short I just went with the flow.  I quickly grabbed and threw Rudy’s pill into the bowl before he finished, then coerced him to go outside afterward so I could feed the other two…in peace!   Rudy didn’t like that, but too bad, so sad!  I’ll make some minor adjustments for tomorrow’s a.m. feeding so it doesn’t happen again.  Oh Rudy.  What will we ever do with him?

It was a beautiful evening.  I didn’t take my good camera out as I intended, but I got this shot of Cosmo on my cell phone.  I haven’t even looked to see how it turned out yet..hopefully it will be decent.

Oh hilarious!  He kind of looks like a tough dog.  I definitely didn’t capture the spirit of our sweet boy.  🙂

Scrappy did a bit of barking during my first visit….from the bedroom.  You’d think he would want to come see what he’s barking at, but I guess not in his world.  🙂  Second visit he was quiet, but very, VERY playful, so we played ball in the family room.  It was a beautiful day today, but Scrappy only wanted to go back inside.
